How it Works
Sitka TBMP is a voluntary, industry-driven program. Businesses choose to participate, commit to shared best practices, and help support a respectful, well-managed visitor experience in Sitka.

The program relies on transparency and collaboration. Residents can submit feedback through a simple reporting process, and that feedback is shared directly with participating businesses so they can respond and address concerns.

Participating businesses receive a variety of benefits, including:​
Logo displayed on TBMP website
Window cling to show participation on your storefront, boat, or vehicle
Automatic enrollment as a Visit Sitka partner and a listing on visitsitka.org (if not already a partner)
One guaranteed social media feature on Visit Sitka's Facebook or Instagram
TBMP verified badge on visitsitka.org website listing
TBMP verified badge on Visit Sitka's Official Visitors' Guide directory listing

Program insights, including feedback trends, are shared with the City and Borough of Sitka to support ongoing conversations about tourism in the community.
If no physical address, please list a mailing address.
Businesses not currently listed with Visit Sitka will be added to the visitsitka.org web directory automatically.

By submitting this application, I confirm that our business has reviewed and agrees to participate in the Sitka TBMP program, including following the TBMP Guidelines to the best of our ability, training participating employees on the guidelines and expectations of the program, and being open to addressing resident, industry, and stakeholder concerns should they occur. I also understand not doing so may cause my business to forfeit TBMP program incentives and compliance status.
